Whether your tastes run to classical, jazz, rock, country or any style in-between, the Gold Coast has something for you.

Lovers of classical music have a smorgasbord of tempting treats on offer, with local orchestras like the Northern Rivers Symphony Orchestra, the Gold Coast Philharmonic and the Gold Coast Symphony Orchestra regularly performing. Every year the Queensland Orchestra presents a special Gold Coast Series subscription season at the Gold Coast Arts Centre.

Jazz enthusiasts are well catered for, with weekly Jazz in the Basement concerts at the Gold Coast Arts Centre. The Gold Coast Jazz and Blues Club and the Gold Coast City Jazz Club also present regular concerts.

There are a number of venues across the Gold Coast that showcase original local bands. Check out the Gold Coast Music Industry Association for further information. Unplugged in the Basement at the Gold Coast Arts Centre provides a weekly opportunity for emerging original Gold Coast musicians.

Both the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre and Jupiters Casino present the best of international touring acts.

Q Music is Queensland's peak body for the contemporary Music Industry. Q Music develops, services, and represents all sectors of the Queensland contemporary music industry on national and international levels.

Jazz Queensland is a non-profit, key service/presenter organisation, dedicated to cultivating and presenting live jazz and contemporary improvised music in Queensland.

The Australian Music Association is the industry body for the music products sector - wholesalers, manufacturers, retailers and associated services for musical instruments, pro audio, print music, lighting and computer music.

The Australasian Performing Rights Association (APRA) is a not-for-profit organisation that collects royalties on behalf of its 47,000+ members, and by agreement, for all the copyright owners around the world.

The Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR) is a non profit, non government association dedicated to the growth and development of Australian independent artists, record labels and distributors across Australia and the world.

Youth Arts Queensland (YAQ) is a not-for-profit, membership-based organisation. YAQ represents and promotes a diverse and thriving youth arts sector in Queensland. From festivals to multi-arts workshops, performances and exhibitions, young people from a diversity of places, cultures, and communities are participating in and creating their own arts and cultural experiences.
