Film

Film, television and entertainment is the Gold Coast’s largest 'creative industry' sector and pioneered international film production in Australia since the late 1980s and continues strongly today.

The film industry on the Gold Coast accounts for more than 75 per cent of Queensland's total value of film, television and drama production (according to the 2005 report Film Gold Coast - An Economic Impact Study of Gold Coast City's Film Industry).
